I was researching my options to move my own domain webbstugan.com to the US. To understand if AWS was an option for my small site, I needed to understand their offerings better. I jumped on a free class at Coursera.org, AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native. This turned out to be a collection of classes, so I took them all.
This free offering from Coursera is the real class from AWS. It has all the wonderful teachers from AWS. It goes over all areas needed for the Cloud Practitioner Certification. You just need to read the updated service and pricing whitepapers from AWS to update you with the new offerings.
I scored 78% on my practice exam. That’s when I knew I needed to read the updated service and pricing whitepapers. The week after I took the test and scored 93%, and was honored with a certification.
I will make an effort to reach the next level before this one expires in two years.
